These trips include airport transfers from Madrid. The weeks fully guided fishing in a fully licenced and insured 16ft Bass boat powered by a new 50hp EVINRUDE E-TEC fuel injection motor, the boat has front and back casting decks with seats and is fitted with a bow mount foot controlled electric motor plus top quality fish finder and GPS system, for trolling a 14ft shetland dolphin with a 20hp yamaha will be used. Bed, breakfast, evening meal and a packed lunch is included. All necessary tackle from ST Croix, ABU and E.T products plus bait and a choice from hundreds of lures. |

For the more adventurous angler we also offer the option of self guided trips, this includes airport transfers from Madrid, bed and breakfast, evening meal and a packed lunch will be supplied for your day on the lake, a fully equipped 13 or 14ft boat powered by a 20 or 30hp outboard both boats have electric motors and quality fish-finders, the boats are fully insured and licensed, with this package we include all items of tackle, bait or lures for your weeks fishing. For lure, bait or fly anglers who prefer to explore the margins one of our guides can drop you off in a recommended area in one of our 4x4 vehicles and later picked up by a time agreed by yourself and a guide. This option includes bed, breakfast, evening meal and a packed lunch for your day on the bank. All tackle and bait will be supplied for the week. |

LOCATION |
For the duration of your stay with us you will be fishing in a national park, the lake is surrounded by forest and mountain scenery and is famous for it's wildlife. T he area has a low population and no industry so angling pressure is minimal, in-fact during the week it's not unlikely not to see another angler. The reservoir was created more than 50 years ago by flooding a valley the lake bed is rich in features such as old bridges, farm buildings and walls, these fish holding features coupled with vast weedy shallows is a perfect scenario for all species to breed and grow to specimen size. Whilst the reservoir dwarfs all but the largest lakes in the UK, to give some comparison the reservoir has a surface area larger than Scotland's Loch Lomond. There are many bays, creeks and islands to explore and with very clear water conditions you might say it's a lure fisherman's paradise. |

ACCOMMADATION |
We can accommodate up to eight anglers in our Spanish town house which is located only 500m from the lake. Although the village is small it contains everything that you could need with 3 bars, 2 village stores, a butcher, a bakery, a tobacconist and a bank with cash machine. The village is steeped in history and provides a peaceful change to life in the UK. On arrival at your fishing destination which is approximately two and a half hour's drive from Madrid's main airport a guide will be waiting to show you around the fishing lodge and your room. We have invested a lot of time and money to create an atmosphere for our clients that relaxes them from the start of their holiday we don't just dump you in a hotel, the house has two floors the ground floor is for guests and can sleep eight, their is a reading area where we have hundreds of fishing books and magazines, a lounge with wide screen satellite TV also on the ground floor is a large kitchen - eating area, to the rear of the lodge there is a good size patio area and sun terrace on the roof looking out over the mountains. AT the rear of the patio is the tackle room and work shop here we keep our boats and landrovers ready to take you fishing. After a short drive of only 5 minutes we are at the lake where we launch the boats, this area is also a great place for swimming or fishing in the evening.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS |
All holiday prices exclude flights and insurance. Transfers too Madrid Barajas airport are included in the price for all pike, bass, and barbel trips. We require a minimum non refundable deposit of 25% to be paid at the time of booking with the balance to be paid in full upon arrival. All fishing licences will be provided and to maximise fishing time a photo copy of your passport should be sent along with your deposits to arrange these. Life jackets will be provided and should be worn on all boat fishing trips. Spanish Safaris reserve the right to cancel any fishing trips due to either poor weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. These terms and conditions are in place as of February 17 2005 and are correct at this time. |
